My name is Laura and travel makes me tick. If I'm not travelling, I'm dreaming about it and planning my next adventure.
I love the act of travelling from the second I close my front door with tickets in my pocket. I love the getting there as much as the destination. The icing on the cake is writing about it. Being mindful of where I have been and who I have spoken to makes me appreciate an experience more for having reflected on it. I relive it. But life goes on between trips; a full time job, training for my next event (triathlon or open water swim) and a motorbike that needs riding. Here's how it all fits together.

It’s a BMW R 51. It’s not as old as the license plate seems to indicate, it was built from 1938 to 1942. It is known for it’s vertical rear shock absorbers and it’s ineffective brakes. This one awaits restoration.
